Health and Medicine

Innovative Approaches

QI brings together experts in engineering, medicine, public health and the biological, behavioral, and social sciences to develop innovative approaches to improving health, health care delivery, and public health. Through the development of advanced sensors, diagnostic tools, biomedical data modeling and information portals, QI is helping to shift the healthcare paradigm to one that emphasizes prevention and rapid response, including to emerging issues such as disease outbreaks.

In other research, QI researchers are developing pioneering new approaches to ailments such as hearing loss, chronic pain and PTSD.

Grants

QI awards and sub-awards for work in health, public health or digital medicine.
