Sonic Arts Internship

Hands-on internships are available with the Qualcomm Institute’s Sonic Arts Research and Development group, which focuses on acoustic modeling, spatialization algorithms, and applications of such research in the context of AR/VR/XR, consumer electronics, and professional audio equipment. Current projects include the Space3D model , diffraction method (VDaT), Beamforming algorithms, HRTF modeling and personalization, and artistic application of such research (e.g. “Becoming: An Interactive Musical Journey in VR”).

The lab is looking for students with experience with C++, CUDA. Matlab, Unit, Unreal Engine, Pure Data, and/or Max/MSP.
