Nancy Lee

Nancy Lee is chief administrative officer of QI, where she runs the day-to-day operations of the institute, including financial, human resources, academic personnel, and facilities management.

Nancy began work for UC San Diego in 2001, shortly after graduating from the university with a major in economics and minors in Chinese and biology. Initially part of UC San Diego’s Tobacco Control Policies Project, she went on to join the San Diego Supercomputer team, where she worked for six years, first as an administrative specialist then administrative analyst. She first came to work for QI as fiscal manager in 2009. In  2016, she became chief administrative officer for the Department of Anthropology, before returning to QI in her current role in 2022.
